Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA ELMA DORTHEA DREWLO The Scramstad; Morasch; Kuehne and Drewlo families sadly announce the passing of our Mother and Grandmother Eva Elma Dorthea Drewlo on August 20, 2008 at the Hythe Continuing Care Center, Hythe Alberta. She passed quietly in her bed at the age of 93. Born Eva Elma Dorthea Glowatzky on July 6, 1915 to Carl and Caroline (nee Pfeifer) Glowatzky in Brunkhild, MB. She married Alfred Octavius Ash in 1941 but was widowed in January 1946 having one daughter, Vivian Elizabeth. She remarried in 1949 to Rudy Drewlo having two children, Marvin David and Kathleen Mary. She was predeceased by Brothers Charlie, Herman, Johnny and sisters Mary Eggar, two Carolines and Elizabeth Thomson. She is survived by sister Emma Friesen, Winnipeg, daughters Vivian Scramstad, Sault Ste. Marie, ON and Kathleen Morasch, Grande Prairie, AB and son Marvin Drewlo, Hythe, AB. Nieces Lynne Glowatski and Norma Brooks both of Winnipeg and nephew Bobby Thomson in Australia. Grandchildren Lee Jon Scramstad Hamilton, ON, Angila (Morasch) Kuehne Edmonton, AB, Sapper Paul Morasch, CFB Edmonton and Arlene Morasch, Grande Prairie, AB. Eva worked many places in her life however, her favourite and last job was as an Operating Room Supply Technician at the St. Boniface Hospital until she retired at the age of 67. She enjoyed gardening and growing the most beautiful geraniums that were the talk of the neighbourhood. Cremation followed by a memorial service at Olivers Funeral Home, Grande Prairie, AB Sunday, August 31.
