JOSEPHINE SPICER Josephine Spicer passed away peacefully on August 21, 2008 at home. Mom was predeceased by her husband Reginald; infant son Gary; mother Mary; father Anthony; brother Mike; sisters, Nellie, Barbara, and Ann. Mom is survived by sons, Wesley (Carol), Desmond (Linda) and Harold (Jackie); granddaughters, Crystal (Bruce), Amanda (Jon), Britainy (Kellen), Kaitlyn and Sydney and great-grandson Braydon; sisters, Mary-Ann and Milly; brothers, Walter (Marcia) and Tony as well as many nieces and nephews and good friends. Mom had a real love for life, especially time spent with friends and family. She will always be remembered as a true sports mom who was always there to cheer her boys on no matter what sport they were participating in. Mom was especially proud of her five granddaughters and took great pleasure in the many special times spent with them. Mom worked for Seven Oaks School Division retiring in 1993. At the time of her passing she was a resident of Carriage House where she actively participated in the senior's community. The family wishes to thank the staff of Carriage House and the Winnipeg Emergency Services. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A celebration of Mom's life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Mom we will miss you always. CHAPEL LAWN 885 - 9715
