Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORD GIESBRECHT March 4, 1928 August 23, 2008 On August 23rd, at the Victoria General Hospital, Dad passed peacefully into the hands of his Lord and Saviour. Left to cherish his memory is Margaret, his loving wife of 59 years, two sons Larry (Martha) and Gord (Cathy), two daughters Shirl (Merv) and Elaine (Arnold), 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, one brother Jim (Helen), one sister Sue, two brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, along with numerous friends met through church and his many years of trucking. Gord was a longtime member of Calvary Temple. Viewing/visitation will be held Wednesday, August 27 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Funeral service to celebrate Dad's life will be Thursday, August 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St. Viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Mennonite Memorial Gardens.
