REILA WILMA MYRAN Peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Reila Myran passed away at the age of 70 years after a lengthy battle with her health. Reila was predeceased by her daughter Daphne Myran on May 24, 2005. She will be sadly missed but always remembered by her family: Joyce (Robert) Myran, Duwayne (Darlene) Myran, Anita Myran, Denise Smith and her long time companion, Lawrence Campbell. Reila is also survived by one brother, Willard (Helen) Tanner and four sisters; Marion (Cecil) Chief, Merle (Lawrence) Wenusk, Linda Tanner and Dorothy (Bill) Chief, as well as numerous family members and friends. Wake services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. (midnight) at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr Street, with prayers starting at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008, also from Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Vida Bend officiating. Cremation will follow with interment in Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
