Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCIEN (TINY) SUTHERLAND It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Lucien Tiny Sutherland on Friday, August 22, 2008, at his home in Winnipeg at the age of 85 years. Remaining to forever cherish Tiny's memory are his daughter Doreen (Joe) Delaurier of Roblin, Manitoba; son Merv Sutherland of Red Deer, Alberta; grandchildren Dion Delaurier of Winnipeg and Kelsey Sutherland of Red Deer; as well as many nieces, nephews and many in-laws and friends. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Gerry Sutherland, in 2006; brothers Charlie, Joe, Roland, Henry, Eddy, Bill and Amede; and sister Alida Sutherland of the Misericordia Sisters. Tiny had always enjoyed travelling, was a veteran of the military and a member of the legion. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. Entombment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Donations may be made in Tiny's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6.
