ISADORA (WUZZIE) HARRISON September 22, 1917 August 22, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, a month short of her 91st birthday and her 70th wedding anniversary on September 14. Left to mourn her passing is her husband William (Bill), daughter Tannis (Orest), son William Jr. (Bill) (friend Eleanor), granddaughter Allyssa, and her nieces Gerry (Bob), Lonni (George), Susan (Jack), and Verna. Wuzzie was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Tekla Handziuk, and sister Elsie. Wuzzie was born and raised in Winnipeg. She attended Sisler High School where she excelled in playing basketball. She was a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker. She had a great knack for interior decorating and would give out advice to anyone who would ask. The family wishes to thank the staff on the 3rd floor at Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their concern, tender care and assistance. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Wuzzie's memory to the charity of your choice.
