MARA SAJATOVIC Peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Seven Oaks Hospital, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 86. She is survived by sons, Nikola (Kathy), Milan (Faye); grandchildren, Liz (Steve), Nick, Dan (Candi); and great-grandson Jake. Mara also leaves to mourn her passing, two sisters and a brother, as well as many other loved ones in Europe. She was predeceased by husband Janko in 2003. Mara was well known throughout the community for her love of gardening and delicious baking. She will be greatly missed by family and friends, but fondly remembered by all who knew her. The family would like to thank Dr. Nepon and his receptionist, Dr. Paunovic, palliative care nurse Tammy-Lee, as well as the staff at HSC and SOGH for their assistance through this difficult time. Prayers will be said on Monday, September 1, 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 10:00 a.m. at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 580 Talbot Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Slavisa Lekic officiating.
