VIVIENNE FRANCES DOYLE (nee SCHAEFFER) 1927 - 2008 Peacefully on August 27th Vivienne passed away in Airdrie, Alberta at the age of 80 after battling Alzheimer's. She was born in Saskatchewan on October 12, 1927 and moved to Winnipeg as a child. She married James in 1947 and they lived in St. Boniface until their move to Calgary in 2002. Vivienne worked for B.C. Tree Fruits for 25 years as office manager. She was a long time member of the C.W.L. and the St. Bernadette Parish in Windsor Park. She was predeceased by her husband who passed away in 2006 and her sister, Evelyn. Vivienne is survived by her five children, Kathleen, Patrick, Joanne, Timothy and Christopher; seven grandchildren; her sister Marjorie and two brothers, Dick and Edmund. Prayers will be held Tuesday, September 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East and Navin Rd., Winnipeg. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd. at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3rd with interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
