AUGUSTA SCHMIDT (nee NEITSCH) On Saturday, August 30, 2008, Augusta passed away due to heart complications. Augusta will be lovingly remembered by her son Dieter (Rita); grandchildren Angela (Ulf), Allison (Tony) and Jonathan; great-grandchildren Kiara, Yannick, Mikkela, Jacob and Ava-Madison; as well as many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Adolf. A private family service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Blvd. Our family would like to thank the Winnipeg Fire Department and Paramedic Services, Grace Hospital and Joe and Berta Schoenhofer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Augusta's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
