Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLEN (HELEN) SLATOR For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. On Friday, August 29, 2008, God answered Helen's prayers when she left this earth, her temporary home. Left to celebrate her life are her sisters, Peggy and Allison (Gordon), her brother Sandy, and her sister-in-law, Isabel, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Helen was predeceased by her father John and mother Mary, stepmother Diana, brothers Christopher (Yvette), Michael, Daniel, and James (Carol), sister Mary (Raymond), brother-in-law (Robert), sister-in-law (June), and nieces Marilyn, Shirley, and Erin. A memorial mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 8 at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street. According to Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949

I was sadden to find out about Helen's passing. My sincere condolences to entire family. Growing up across the alley, Helen was a strong grandmother to me.
