Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDANIEL GEORGE BENHAM FIELDING 1945 - 2008 Peacefully, Dan slipped into the presence of God, surrounded by family at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the age of 62 years. Remaining to forever cherish Dan's memory are his loving wife of 31 years, Cathy; children, Stephen (Larissa) of Victoria, BC and Kari Hamblin (Brad) of Winnipeg. He also leaves his sister Sue and family of Kincardine, Ontario. He was predeceased by son Mark (1979); parents John and Dorothy; and brother Michael. Born September 22, 1945 and raised in Paris, Ontario, Dan's lifelong career was with CN Rail, with which he travelled extensively, eventually settling in Winnipeg in 1996 and retiring in 2000. Church and family were of utmost importance in his life and family vacations were treasured. He will be remembered for his sense of humour, his active and loving involvement in his children's lives, and his devotion to God. A celebration of Dan's life will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. in The Bridge Church, 620 Oxbow Bend Road (located at the southwest corner of Portage Avenue and the W. Perimeter Hwy.). If you wish to make a donation in Dan's memory, contributions can be made to Pathway Camp Ministries through The Bridge Church. The family thanks their dear friends and the staff at the Grace and Health Sciences Centre for their care and support during Dan's last days. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23
