MARGIT ELSA PETERDY 1951-2008 On September 1, 2008, at the age of 56 years, Margit Peterdy passed away. She leaves to mourn her sister Anne and husband Brian McAughey, and nephews Brent, Eric and Kevin. She will be sadly missed by best friend Denise. Margit was best remembered for her love of all animals and was devoted to her cats, especially her beloved Angel. There will be no memorial service and a private interment will take place. Friends may gratefully acknowledge her memory with a donation to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, R3T 0R3. Rest in peace, Margit, with Mom and Dad and Angel in heaven.

Margit and I were long-ago friends who met when we worked together at MPI, now called Autopac. We had a wonderful, instant friendship, and we made one another laugh so much. I can still hear her voice and her laugh. Even though our contact faded over the years, I have never forgotten her, and just wanted to acknowledge her memory.
