Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE OZUNKO (TATARYN) Surrounded by her family our mom, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital on September 2, 2008 succumbing to pulmonary fibrosis. Mom was born in East Selkirk and was the daughter of Mary and Robert Tataryn. Mom's birth name was Anne but she always wanted to be called Annie . Mom is survived by her husband Alex and her children, Linda (Wayne) Stannard, Wayne (Marcella) Ozunko, Derek (Arleen) Ozunko and Donna (Malcolm) Kennedy; her grandchildren, Kristofer, Megan, Nathaniel, Brittany, Justin, Karen and Sharen and her great-grandchildren, Jaye and Kane. Mom is also survived by her only sister Stella Orysiuk and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Julie and brother-in-law Roy and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Nicholas, Michael, Peter, John and William. Mom was a very independent lady. She always believed that she had a guardian angel that helped her throughout her life. Mom was talented in so many ways. Her cooking, her baking and her love of dressmaking were her gifts to her family. Mom sewed lovely outfits for herself and her sister Stella. Mom loved to garden and plant flowers. She always liked the feel of the soil in her hands at the beginning of spring. Mom worked hard all her life and tried to care for her family the best she could. She was proud of her immediate children and very proud of all her grand and great-grandchildren. These past months have been very hard on Mom. We pray Mom's guardian angel will continue to care for her. We love you Mom and we thank you for your gift of love. It was always there for us. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Mom's nurses, especially Jennifer, Dr. Bhanot, Dr. Taraska and the wonderful staff on the 3rd Floor, Unit 5 at the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion towards Mom and our family. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, West St. Paul. A private family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Manitoba Lung Association. Our Dearest Mother, we will never forget your love. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
