PATRICIA (PATTY) RUTH BACHYNSKI Peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Riverview Health Centre, Patricia Bachynski passed away at the age of 49. Patty will be proudly remembered and sadly missed by her mother Ruth McNeil (Bachynski); brothers Gerry (Lisa) and Gordon (Wendy); sister-in-law Leslie Bachynski; nephew Caley Bachynski (Jennifer) and great nephew Nate. Born in Silver Heights, Patty attended Charleswood Collegiate and graduated from Oak Park High School where she made many great friendships which have endured to this day. Soon after she joined CBS Records and later, moved to Toronto where she found her true passion in music and the recording industry. Messages of condolence from many of Miss P's friends speak to her spark, strength and love of life and for the work and people she enjoyed so much. Patty returned to Winnipeg in 2002 to begin a new chapter in her life close to her friends and family. The family would like to thank Dr. MacEachern (Winnipeg Clinic); the kind nurses at CancerCare Manitoba, particularly Linda Davidson; and Dr. Lou, her family physician. They especially thank Alayna Braunstein, her childhood friend who spent so much time with Patty throughout her illness. We also thank her many friends who came a considerable distance to visit her during recent months. It provided great support and meaning to Patty. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private gathering at The Assumption Cemetery. An informal gathering to celebrate Patty's life will take place at a future date. Donations in Patty's name may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation.
