LISA GARBO BANTILES On Saturday, August 23, 2008, in her home, Lisa Bantiles, wife of James Thompson passed away peacefully. Lisa will be sadly missed by her father Antonio Bantiles; daughter Michelle Herechuk (Keith); sisters, Rita Panlilio (Juanito) and family, Susan Bantiles-Wollman (Fred) and family; brother Peter (Gilly) Bantiles and family; cousins, Sam and Sally and family, Violy Tabinga (Rustico) and family, as well as family in the Philippines and California, numerous nieces and nephews. Lisa was predeceased by her mother Josepha Bantiles. Lisa worked at various departments at Health Sciences Centre for over 23 years. Her last position at Health Sciences Centre was in Diagnostic Imaging in Children's Hospital. Lamay will take place on Friday, September 12, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with burial to follow. Viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to time of service. Memorial service was held on August 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Christian Life Assembly, 1042 Jefferson Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lisa's memory to Helena's African Mission, in care of Christian Life Assembly, 1042 Jefferson Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba R2P 0L3.
