Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE MOTOCH February 23, 1947- August 28, 2008 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of George at his home in Traverse Bay, Manitoba. George is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sharon, son Mark (Jackie) and daughter Mel. George was a product of Winnipeg's North End where he attended Luxton School and St. John's High School. He graduated college from Bemidji State University. His life's work was in sales, but his passion was the game of football. Football played a huge role in his life both as a player and a coach. He played high school, college and pro and coached at every level from Pop Warner to the Grey Cup Champions. George was a devoted family man who treasured the moments spent with family and friends. No words can express how much he will be missed. Our world has lost a very special person. The family wishes to thank Donna and Claude Laurin, Marie and Norman Lavack, Victoria Beach First Responders, Dr. Thwala and the staff of Pine Falls Hospital. In accordance with George's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. A tribute donation in memory of George Motoch can be made online at www.childhoodcancer.ca or to the Childhood Cancer Foundation, Candlelighters Canada, 1300 Yonge St., Suite # 405, Toronto, ON M4T 1X3.
