Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET NELLIE BEETON Widow of the late Allan (Pete) Beeton, Meg passed away peacefully on September 5, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital. Meg was born in East Kildonan on August 2, 1917. She graduated St. John's high school in 1935, and spent her 47 year career working as a stenographer in various places. She is survived by her sister, Gladys Johnstone and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Bill, Fred, Ralph and Jim Mayfield. She loved to spend her time at Falcon Lake and, since her husbands passing, has spent the last 20 summers there. Meg was an energetic bowler with a powerful sweet tooth. She was known for her interminable optimism and will be dearly missed. Service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street.
