JOHN KARDASHINSKI With deep sorrow the family of John Kardashinski announces his passing on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Gimli, MB. John was predeceased by his parents Rudolph and Eileen Kardashinski; and his brothers Rudy and Louis. He is survived by his partner Carole Robinson; sons Glenn, Kevin (Kathy); two grandsons Matthew and Jonathon; stepsons Troy and Trevor and their children, Alyssa, Kyle, Tyler; great-grandson Jace; sisters-in-law Deanna (Kenny) and Evelyn. John was born on the family farm in Jaroslaw. He moved to Churchill and worked there as a mechanic and later moved to Gimli. His dream was realized when he moved back to the family farm and became his own boss sharing his mechanical skills with his neighbours. No matter the hour John was willing to go out and help anyone in trouble with their mechanical problems. The family would like to thank the staff at Betel Home, Gimli Hospital and Dr. R.C. Patel. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Manitoba. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
