MYRTLE LORETTA CHAMBERS - HARDISTY Unexpectedly, after a long struggle with her health, Myrtle passed away on July 26, 2008 at the age of 74 in St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Agnes Hardisty; her brothers Donald Jr. and Cyril Hardisty and sisters, Helen Doreen Hardisty, Shirley Done, Dorothy Thorpe and Christine Dueck. Her memory will be cherished by daughter Karen (Everet) and her grandson Dakota Chambers-Hourie whom she affectionately called “Cody”. She also leaves two sisters Mina Favel of Thunder Bay, ON and Ruby (Harold) Sandberg of Prince George, BC. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home with interment of ashes to follow at the St. Peter’s Cemetery. “How sweet to sleep where all is peace, where sorrow cannot reach the breast. Where all life’s idle throbbing cease and pain is lulled to rest.” Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
