Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (HUGGER) WILLIAM GREIG KAMARAUS September 21, 1947 - September 7, 2008 With great sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of our brother, uncle and friend, Hugger, at the age of 60, from a brief but very serious illness. He will be deeply missed by his family, brothers, Don (Judy) and Billy; sisters, Joyce Mueller, Debbie Krawchuk and Sheila and their families; also his stepbrother Leonard; step-sisters, Susanne, Marlene, Theresa and their families. He was predeceased by his mother Gladys; sisters, Shirley and Linda; father William and stepmother Florence. Hugger was a friend to all, very happy-go-lucky, easy going and independent. His life was filled with many happy times doing the things he enjoyed - hunting (famous as the camp cook), fishing, a loyal supporter and equipment manager for the old Beausejour Beavers, an awesome pitcher for the Flyers Slo-Pitch team. Hugger was a dedicated seasonal employee of Manitoba Highways for 33+ years and so looked forward to his retirement on his birthday last year. He was a tremendous support to his brother Billy. All the girls he knew were his sweethearts as that was the way he always greeted us. Hugger will also be truly missed by all his buddies at the Beausejour Legion and other local establishments that he frequented. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. Mark Drozniak presiding. Sincere thanks to Dr. Campbell and staff at the Beausejour Hospital for their care and compassion. Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish, a donation can be made to the Beausejour Legion or the Beausejour Hospital. Rest in peace Hugger, We will miss you!
