PETER HAROLD CHARTRAND On September 8, 2008 Peter Harold Chartrand passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Pete will be greatly missed by his three sons, Mike Chartrand, Quesnel, BC, Jeff (Bonnie) Chartrand, Grand Prairie, Stacy Chartrand, Winnipeg and by his daughter Rachel (Dwayne) Templeton of Thompson, Manitoba, and their mother. Grandpa Pete will be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, Raelee and Jaren Chartrand, Ryan and Teya Templeton. Also missed by his sisters Pearl Parisien and Patsy and mother-in-law Hazel McQuigge. Dad, Grandpa, we will miss your hearty laugh, great sense of humor, words of wisdom and encouragement and even your loud snoring even in the movie theatre. We will miss hearing dad call us by our childhood nicknames, Mickey, Pooh-bud, Tiddley Toad and baby doll. Grandpa Pete always had time for fun with the grandchildren, taking them to watch the Blue Bombers, the zoo, cool restaurants and go-karts. Grandpa would travel far just to see his grandson play hockey. We will miss Grandpa's BIG GIANT BEAR HUGS and his whisker blooper kisses. In honouring and remembering dad's life; enjoy a steak dinner, with a cold beer and tomato juice while cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays/Maple Leafs and Blue Bombers. As per dad's wishes cremation to follow.
