ELSIE WILSON August 4, 1912 - September 5, 2008 With deepest sorrow our family announces the passing of our mother, Elsie Christine on Friday, September 5, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband Zack in October 1981. She is survived by her children, Katherine, Zack (Emily), Michael (Evelyn) and Rick (Carol). Surviving also are her grandchildren Bob, Kristine, Shane, Kevin, Jason, Dean, Mark and Kimberley as well as 13 great-grandchildren. She was born in Pierson, Manitoba, married in 1937 and spent eight years in Lethbridge. Eventually Elsie, Zack and family settled in Elmwood and she spent the last 53 years of her life there. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Tuesday, September 16 at 12:30 p.m. Thank you to the dedicated staff at Oakview Extendicare and Bethania Personal Care Home for their care and compassion.
