DOROTHY KUBESH (nee MIKOLASH) With her loving family by her side, Dorothy passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the age of 75 years. Dorothy leaves to forever cherish her memory, her loving and supportive husband Ralph Kubesh; her loving children who were also her best friends, Elaine (Bob), Beverly and Sharon (Chad); forever in their hearts her devoted grandchildren, Trina (Edem), Trevor, Jennifer (Shawn), Cory (Jody); and great-grandchildren Sarah and Andrew. She will be sadly missed by her stepchildren, Ken (Mary), Carol (Ernie), as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their extended families that cared for her dearly. Dorothy leaves behind her loving brothers that were very dear to her heart, Ralph (Irene), Jim (Donna), Gary (Irene), Jackie (Evelyn); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy will also be deeply missed by her very dear friend Stenia and her good friends Marge and Mary. She was predeceased by her first husband John Bahry; parents Gertrude and Jacob Mikolash; sister Eleanor; brother Bob; stepdaughter Terry Stebbe; and brother-in-law Nick Krystik. Dorothy had a passion for gardening and a fond love of nature, whether it was the sound of her crickets, her beautiful garden or just enjoying the birds that she loved to feed. She was also very devoted to her Catholic faith. Mom, we will always remember how loving, strong and courageous you were. You had the kindest heart and always put everyone else first right until the very end. Never once did we hear you complain about anything and you always stressed the importance of forgiveness. Mom, you were always the perfect lady and took great pride in having your hair just so and looking your very best. We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Brodovsky for his devotion to helping our Mom. We would also like to thank Dr. Nick Van Rensburg for his genuine care and concern during this difficult time and nurses, Rhea, Sandy, Cheryl and Bonnie for their compassion. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Beausejour, MB, with Rev. Fr. Mark Drozniak, presiding. Pallbearers were Jim Mikolash, Gary Mikolash, Jackie Mikolash, Barry Mikolash, Cory Macauley and Nolan Weselak. Honorary Pallbearers were Ralph Mikolash, Bob Kuhn, Chad Lukie and Trevor Kuhn. Mom, Grandma...we love you more!
