YVONNE RUBINA COOPER It is with heavy hearts and great sadness; the family of Yvonne Rubina Cooper announce the sudden but peaceful passing of their loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Remaining to forever cherish Yvonne's memory are her daughters, Belinda (Paul) Smith, Diane (Rick) Roy and Patricia Cooper; sons, Donald (Peggy) Cooper, Bruce (Bev) Cooper and Kenneth Dean Cooper; sister Marlene (Harry) Madarash; in-laws, June Perlin, Thelma (Jim) Brennan and Peter Lisowicki; grandchildren, Tim Roy, Jennifer Thompson, Kris Cooper, Danial Cooper and Rhonda, Marlie Cooper, Jessica James, Daniel Neufeld, Tina, A.J. and Cindy Kehler, Rachel Anderson and family; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Emma Lee, Errick, Carlon, Ella, Ivan, Anthony, Jordan and Michael. She was predeceased by her grandson Richard Raymond Ross Cooper; and husband Richard James Cooper. Our mother had a great love for family, life and travelling. She would rarely pass up a costume party. Mom very much enjoyed being a member of the Oak Bank Silver Threads Seniors Club and the Hatittude Chapter of the Red Hat Society. Recently moving into the city with her adopted cat Sam she was looking forward to being closer to her family and friends. Mom spent her final hours in the company and comfort of her sissy Marlene at her home in The Pas, Manitoba. Yvonne's Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories, in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in Mom's memory to any seniors organization or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. Mom will be greatly missed by her family and anyone that had the fortune to meet her.
