Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH WILLIAM MARSHALL August 5, 1929 - September 9, 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our father, Ken most affectionately known to everyone as Pa Ken was predeceased by his wife; Elaine (August 2007); son Raymond (2003); parents; Steven and Minnie, brothers Jack, Charlie, Bob and Jim. Survived by his son; Jim (Geri) of Winnipeg, daughter; Barbara (Randy) Prettie of Langford, son; Doug (Bonnie) also of Langford, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren along with many family and friends. Ken was the youngest of seven children born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he stayed, married Elaine in 1953 and raised four children. At the age of 45, Dad and Mom packed up all their worldly goods and their youngest son; Doug and moved west to Langford, BC in 1974. Ken started a business which is still operating today; Ken's Septic Tank Services. At the age of 60 Ken retired and began what he called the better life, doing what he wanted to do and that was making wishing wells, gardening and of course shopping for tools at Canadian Tire and his pastime spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play baseball.
