DONALD BARRY YOUNG 1940 2008 It is within sadness that we announce the passing away of Donald Barry Young on September 12, 2008. He lost his battle with cancer while at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Don was born on July 1, 1940 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was the son of Bill and Florence (Ivy) Young and was the middle of four brothers; Ken, Keith and Bill. He will be missed by all of his family. He will also be missed by Gloria, son Mike (Sandra), daughter Debbie (Ron) and grandson Kristopher. Don worked in various places over the years. He worked for Purolator Courier, Mountain Prison, B.C., and Victoria Beach Police. Over the years, he had a strong bond to his friends and family. He enjoyed retirement by living at Albert Beach, MB and winter in Yuma, AZ with family and friends. Don's generous and giving personality will be missed by everyone who knew him. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to CancerCare, MB
