Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWINNIFRED PEARL LEPPER With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Winnifred Pearl Lepper (nee Bredl) on September 13, 2008. Pearl was born in Melville, Sask., on September 4, 1916 to Maude and George Bredl. She was predeceased by her husband Gerald of Dauphin in 1982. Pearl is survived by her sons Don (Mary-Ann) of Winnipeg, Dave (Gloria) of Windsor, Ont., Bruce (Kathy) of Calgary, AB., and daughter Janice Boyd (Jim) of Calgary, AB. Also surviving are grandsons Sean and Stephen, granddaughters Heather, Barbara, Trisha and Carolyn and four great-grandchildren, and her sister Primrose of Port Angeles, Washington. Upon completion of high school in Melville, Pearl attended the School of Nursing at Winnipeg General Hospital graduating in 1938. She later attended the University of Toronto School of Nursing graduating in public health in 1941. She worked as a public health nurse in northern Manitoba and Dauphin. Pearl and Gerald enjoyed their many years together in Dauphin and at their cottage at Clear Lake. Mother loved music, hiking, snow-shoeing and canoeing. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at the Riverside Evergreen Chapel, Dauphin, MB for family and friends on September 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
