JACK SCOTT February 28, 1920 - September 15, 2008 Suddenly, while travelling with his beloved wife to Warroad, Minnesota, Jack Scott passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his wife, Ethel (Seddon), his daughter Bev and husband Ian Affleck and their sons Scott and Bob and cocker spaniel Mollie; and his son Norm and wife Linda (Gerelus) and their daughters Jennifer and Michelle. He is fondly remembered by sister-in-law Phyllis and husband Wally Rudnick and brother-in-law Gordon Seddon and wife Muriel, as well as their families and many other nieces and nephews. His many friends at Kirchhoff Gardens will miss him very much. Beginning as a young man, Jack worked with CNR for 42 years except for the years that he served with the RCAF during the Second World War. In retirement, Jack enjoyed wood-carving, golf and travelling, but his family and friends always came first on his priority list. Jack's kindness and willingness to help was appreciated by all who knew him. Please join us for a gathering to celebrate Jack's life at Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, officiated by Pastor Gerald Dyck. Interment will follow at St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Jack may be made to the CNIB, P.O. Box 32002 STN BRM B, Toronto, ON MY7 5R2. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 680 Archibald Street 253-5086
