LILLIAN (LILLY) CHADWELL (nee PAULINA) After a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of 28 years of the late Sefton Green. Loving mother of Karen (Fred) and Daryl (Linda). Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Jennifer) and Kristy (Luc) and great-grandmother of Hailee. Dear sister of Audrey (Ross) and cousin of Faye (Herb). Mom was a longtime resident of the Ottawa Valley and loved all it had to offer especially old time fiddling, farmer's markets, and area artists. Born and raised in Winnipeg part of her was always the proud Winnipeger and over the years she stayed in touch with family and friends still there. All who know her remember her passion for music, art, reading, cooking and gourmet food. She was an amazing woman who saw some very difficult times and many very happy times and always maintained an intense love of life, family and friends. She will be truly missed by all she touched. Family will receive friends at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Memorial service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of life and gathering to follow in the McGarry Family Reception Centre.
