AMANDA MARIE FRYKAS Tragically in a vehicle accident, Amanda Marie Frykas (age 20) and unborn daughter Savannah Marie were taken from us far to soon on September 15, 2008. Born in Winnipeg, October 14, 1987. Amanda received her educat2008-09-15ion in St. Norbert and graduating from Sanford Collegiate in 2005. Amanda played ball from a young age up until her graduating year. She had a huge heart to help the young or the elderly and if she could she would take a special needs school mate under her wing. Amanda loved spending time at the lake fishing with her dad. She loved and could sing every country song out there. Left to cherish her memory are parents Harry and Gail; sister Tiffany; brother Jeremy. Grandparents Walter and Eleanor and grandmother Olga. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Amanda was predeceased by great-grandparents Peter and Anne, Harry and Mary, grandfather John and uncle Gary. Friends may call at the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, on Friday, September 19, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Michael Tkachuk officiating. The service will terminate at the chapel with interment taking place at a later date. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in Amanda's and Savannah's names to M.A.D.D, 202 - 2621 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0P7.
