CLEMENS MARCKER It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, Dad and Opa, Clemens Marcker on September 16, 2008. He is sadly missed, remembered and treasured by his wife of 53 years, Rita, daughters Debbie (Gerry), Monique (Bill), son Derek and grandsons Matthew, Andrew, William, Alexander and Christopher as well as relatives in the Netherlands and Switzerland. Clem worked hard all his life. He worked 32 years at Canada Packers. However, his energy and interests led to many other jobs, which included photography, auto repair and home renovations. There was nothing he could not build or fix, and if he did not know, he would spend hours teaching himself. When Clem and Rita bought some property at the Lake of the Woods, Clem pursued his lifelong dream of building a cottage. It was a labour of love. He enjoyed summers at the lake with his family and friends. He often described his greatest gifts were his five grandchildren. Clem was an intelligent man who loved reading, classical music, good food and wine, strong coffee and large servings of ice cream. Clem's laughter will always be missed. We will love you forever. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place in River Heights on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church and cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clem's memory to Tabor Baptist Church, 710 Madeline St., Wpg., MB, R2C 2S6, the memo line on the cheque should read Zambia 2008. These donations will assist the Seeds of Hope Children's Ministry. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
