JOSEPH SCHEIRING At the St. Boniface Hospital on September 16, 2008 after a brief illness Joseph Scheiring, 66, began his journey into light. Joseph joins his parents Jacob and Agnes, brothers Emil, George and sister Fran. Waiting to be reunited with him again are his wife Shirley, son Robert (Nancy), daughters Shannon, Tammy (Luc) Blanchette, sisters Bea Dyrda, Julie (Syl) Duval and many nieces and nephews. Dad was very proud of his grandchildren: Niall, Evelyn, Meredith, Ellen, Natalie, Roland and Emilie. Joe was born August 29, 1942 in Melville, Saskatchewan but soon moved to Winnipeg. He began his career with Winnipeg Supply and Trans Air, eventually making Perimeter Aviation his home for over 30 years. Joe had many passions; great love for his cats, participation in bowling leagues for many years and Manitoba and St. James baseball where he coached, convened and volunteered for more than 35 years. Joe also never missed his Wednesday night coffee date with best friend Sam Katayama. Thanks to all for calls, visits, care and compassion of Joe.
