KATHLEEN MARIE REID (nee COLLINS) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen on Sunday, September 14, 2008. Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Matt, her four daughters, Marie, Madeline, Monica and Kathleen and her five grandchildren, Erika, Lillian, Julienne, Mathea and Brian. She was predeceased by her grandson Lee. In Mom's earlier years, she became a secretary with the Federal Government. Her love of traveling started early and she became a world traveler, visiting countries on her own or with family. She had a great love of music and books. Even in her retirement years, she returned to working as a receptionist. Mom guided us with her unconditional love, kindness, tolerance and generosity. She will be in our hearts forever. A Funeral Mass took place with Rev. Msgr. Louis J. McCloskey. A private family service took place. There are many great and beautiful arts in the world But the greatest of all is the art of living.
