MARY ROSS GORDON CRANSTON ROBSON (nee MCINTYRE) Mary passed peacefully at Gimli Hospital on September 17, 2008. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Jerry, in 2005 and by her sisters, Dorothy, Grace and Jean, as well as her parents and numerous family in-laws. Left to mourn her passing are her three sons, Brian, Keo and Grant and their families, also Mary's adopted children, Marshall Pedley and Debbie Nelson and their families, and of course Mary's very much beloved grandchildren. Mary also leaves numerous family members and her many special and dear friends. Mary married her sweetheart, Jerry, in September 1939 and enjoyed having many wonderful adventures both with her family, as well as those special times with Jerry alone. Her outgoing, pleasant, welcoming and trusting nature endeared her to everyone throughout her lifetime, and especially those closest to her in Winnipeg, Gimli, Winnipeg Beach and Moose Lake. Mary's legacy, left for us to remember her by, is the brightness of her smile, her willingness to forgive and her sense of fun and love for all. Special thanks to Dr. Wiesenthal, Dr. R. C. Patel, Dr. Benshaban and the entire nursing staff of the Johnson Memorial Hospital, Gimli. Thanks as well to all who have shown support to both Mary and her family, during the trying times. Interment will take place with a graveside service at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, Winnipeg on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with a lunch reception to follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home, celebrating Mary's life. If desired, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba in Mary's memory. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
