ADRIEN BELLEMARE It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Adrien Bellemare on Monday, September 15, 2008. Adrien was born Aug. 23, 1942 in St. Jean Baptiste, MB. He worked for Merchants Consolidated for many years starting from an entry warehouse position and working his way up to a supervisory position up until the company closed. He then started his own landscaping business and operated it for a short time. Most recently he was enjoying retirement and looking forward to the years ahead. He loved his sports, especially hockey and curling. He lived most of his adult years in Grande Pointe raising a family, then moving to Iles des Chenes in recent years. Surviving Adrien are his two sons Michael Stewart (wife Leah) of Oromocto, NB and Robert Jean (wife Lori) of Steinbach, MB, grandchildren Jenny, Benjamin, Andrew and Jack; his sister Denise from Wawanesa, MB, brother Norbert from Montreal, QC and sister Mathilda from Edmonton, AB. He is also survived by the mother of his children Reta Burroughs (nee Rempel) of Sioux Narrows, ON. Adrien was predeceased by his parents, Pierre and Blanche Bellemare and his beloved dog Bailey. The funeral will be held at the Catholic Church of Iles des Chenes, 453 Main Street, Iles des Chenes, on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by Birchwood Funeral Chapel 1-204-346-1030 or 1-888-454-1030
