KENNETH WYNN CROMIE September 20, 1925 September 11, 2008 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and brother. Dad passed away peacefully at the Deer Lodge centre after a lengthy illness of C.O.P.D and Cancer. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Marj. Left to celebrate his life are his sons Craig (Barb) Stangoe, Blake (Gloria), his grandchildren Erin, Hailey and Troy. His brothers David (Cleo), Bob (Carol), and his sisters Laurel (Ayton Cooke) and Beryl (Jack Slave). Dad served as a radio officer on a Corvette Castle Class in the North Atlantic during The Second World War. Following the war Dad worked for many years at Scott National Foods. Born in Vancouver, dad spent many years in Yorkton, travelled on to The Pas and retired in Winnipeg. Dad was truly a family man. He was loved by us all and adored by his grandkids. He will be missed dearly by us all. We are grateful to the nurses and staff at Deer Lodge for all their care. Cromie really appreciated it. Service will be held on Friday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary's Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent in his memory to Cancer Care Manitoba.
