Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVALENTINE REMPEL (nee Quiring) Passed away on September 4th, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital after a long struggle with Alzheimers at the age of 89. Predeceased by loving husband John in 1996 and brother Henry Quiring in 2003, she is survived by sister Lena (Jack) Sawatzky, son Ed and his wife Sue Rempel, two grandchildren Geoff and Patti (Ed Chalupka) and two great-grandsons Sebastian and Matthias Rempel-Chalupka and many nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Von Kampen officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to a charity of one's choice.
