ZENIE BORECKY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Zenie Borecky on September 11, 2008 at Mont-Sinai Hospital, Montreal, Quebec. Zenie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and moved to Montreal, Quebec with his wife and family in 1967 to further his career in aviation of over 42 years with Air Canada. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather committed to helping and nurturing family and friends. In retirement, Zenie spent many happy years wintering in Florida with his wife Anne. Zenie was predeceased by his beloved wife Anne. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered with love by his son Richard and wife Caroline; son Gary; daughter Jackie and husband Jay; nephew Michael; all of their families as well as his many friends and neighbors. To our loving grandfather who will be forever missed, our memories comfort us at this time. May you finally rest in peace . Your loving grandchildren Jeremy, Sarah, Nicholas, Jamie, Jenna and Jessie. A private family service was held September 16. A mass will be held for him in Winnipeg at a future date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Zenie's name to the Montreal Association for the Blind.
