DONALD JOHN MARTIN October 6, 1936 - September 17, 2008 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Donald John Martin on September 17, 2008 with his family by his side. Don will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his devoted wife Bev; sons Brian and Greg (Bridget); cherished grandchildren Brittany and Kelly; brother John; mother-in-law Mrs. Phillips; uncle George (Elaine); brothers-in-law Bob and Bill (Olga); as well as nieces, nephews and treasured friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father. Don worked for many years in the overhead door business. His favourite pastime was spending time with family, friends and his dog, Sabrina. He also enjoyed fishing and travelling and was a true fan of the Bombers and Blue Jays. Many thanks to the staff on 3rd floor E wing at Riverview. Memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
