BERTHA GENAILLE (nee BOUCHER) February 28, 1935 - September 18, 2008 Peacefully on Thursday September 18, 2008 we announce with great sadness the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children, Frances (Roland), Rose (John), Aberham, Sharon (Gerald), Karl (Donna), Marcella (Doug) and Cynthia (Brian), 36 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Norman and four children Phillip, Adolph, Jerry and Brenda. If tears could build a stairway and thoughts a memory lane I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again No Farewell words were spoken No time to say good-bye You were gone before I knew it And only God knows why. My heart's still active in sadness And secret tears still flow What it meant to lose you No one can ever know. But now I know you want us To mourn for you no more To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep, Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep A memorial service will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home, 211 Regent Ave West (at Bond) on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. A traditional wake service will take place in Duck Bay, MB on Thursday, September 25, 2008 and burial on Friday, September 26, 2008.
