MURIEL MARGARET PIRIE Peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, September 20, 2008, our dear mother Muriel Margaret Pirie of Aylmer went to heaven to be with her Lord and her beloved husband Dawson R. Pirie (August 9, 1994). She completed her earthly journey at the age of 90 years. She will be missed greatly by her daughters, Susan Jakob and husband Joe of Aylmer, Diane Sager and husband Mark of St. Thomas, and Janis Wall of Tillsonburg. Loved by her grandchildren, Stephen Jakob and wife Lisa, David Jakob and Christopher Jakob, Jennifer Sager and fiancé Scott Elliott and Jeremy Sager and partner Kathy Willoughby, and Alex Wall. Great-grandmother of Matthew and Andrew Jakob and Owen and Lily Jakob. Predeceased by sisters Marion Davis and Audrey Anderson. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on March 4, 1918, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Maude (Wilson) Dixon. Muriel served in the Air Force during the Second World War and came to Aylmer in 1954. She was a retired employee of Akron Manufacturing. Muriel was a faithful member of the Aylmer Baptist Church, a Honourary Deacon and past secretary of the Ever True Mission Circle. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 24 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Cam Watts officiating.
