A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Wereschuk Funeral Chapel, 420 Airport Dr., St. Andrews, Manitoba. Today, Edmond Donaldson would have been 93 years old. My father worked very hard and he loved fishing. He also loved to read National Geographic Magazines. Along with his love for my mother and his family. He loved the family pet dog named Jill. I will always cherish the memory of my father. Edmond Neville Donaldson was the best father in the world to me. My father taught me to ride a bicycle when I was very young and invested in a bike for me. He always took the summer off to spend with us. Every Saturday was a treat day, for example, taking us to Lockport, or other places. My father enjoyed the outdoors and had a great appreciation for nature. He worked very hard at Bay Bronze as a foreman and always had a sense of humor.
