Dora had a friendly and open-minded personality, and a wide range of interests including a love of the arts. She was an avid reader, and greatly enjoyed the natural landscape. Family and friends were important to her, as were Sunday dinner gatherings. The family thanks the staff of the Palliative Care Program as well as the staff at Jocelyn House who kindly provided care and compassion. In accordance with Dora's wishes, cremation has taken place. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I have known Dora for a good many years. She was once our neighbour. My parents took Dora in to live with us. I remember the holiday we went on with my parents in a 1954 Chev. My two sisters and Dora in the back seat, my mother, father and myself in the front. Dora was like part of the family. We picked cherries, had a snowball fight on a Glacier. Thinking of Dora it brings back all the good times we experience in childhood. I know she will be sadly missed but we remember the good times. - Posted by: Roberta Thompson(nee Graham) (Friend) on: Sep 27, 2008
