MARGARET JESSICA FRIESEN (nee MILNE) Peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2008 Margaret passed away at Grace Hospital. Margaret was born in Virden Manitoba on May 20, 1932. She moved to Winnipeg in 1942. Margaret was predeceased by her father Leslie Milne, mother Cossie Thomson and step father James Thomson. Margaret is survived by her husband Aron Ernie Friesen, whom she married on February 23, 1952, daughter Melody (James) Ebbitt with children, Lori and Michelle Ebbitt, son Darrell (Joanne) Friesen, with children, Adam (Heidi) and Kelli, son Donald (Linda) Friesen with children, Stephanie and Cassandra. Marg worked as a hairdresser before working at Eaton's and Sears. She was a member of the St. James Legion. Her love of travel brought her to Alaska and from the East to West coasts of Canada. Marg enjoyed camping and boating as well as sewing, cooking and dancing. Special thanks to Grace Hospital for their compassionate care. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Friday, September 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave., with a reception to follow.
