RONALD MARCEL DURAND It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our much loved Ron, at the age of 50 years old, on September 20, 2008. Ron succumbed to severe brain injuries he incurred on September 7, 2008, as a result of a collision with a moose, while riding his much loved Harley Davidson. Ron is survived by Liz Chevrier, the woman who adored and loved him for the past three years, and to whom our family is very grateful for. Ron left us with a precious memory of him, a son Andrew Durand. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Celine Meisner, and brother Richard Durand, sister Jennifer Sangster and sister Carole Moon. Ron's funeral service was held on September 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Church in Edmonton, AB. In lieu of flowers our family would be grateful that memorial contributions be sent to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Ron leaves behind his much loved dog Scruffy.
