ETHEL KENNY On Sunday, September 20, 2008 Ethel Kenny passed away at the Golden Door Care Home in her 97th year of life. Her granddaughter Kim and daughter-in-law Leslie were at her side. Ethel was predeceased by her first husband Donald McLean and her daughter Cathy McQueen. Ethel's memory will be cherished by her son Douglas (Leslie) McLean, grandchildren, Kim and Don, her son-in-law Lyall McQueen (Shari) and grandchildren, Robin, Todd and Stacey. Ethel also will be remembered by her great- grandchildren, her sister Virginia Barber of Victoria, BC, her sons, Art and Peter and their families. Ethel was predeceased by her second husband Frank Kenny and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his daughters, Valerie Pearson, Sidney Simpson, Joanne Kenny and their families. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice. The family extends their thanks to the staff at Golden Door Care Home for their care of Ethel.
