DAVID EUGENE MAUBERT 1946 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dave on September 22, 2008. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Crystal (Dan), brother Eric (Rita), niece Kayla, sister Laurel (Al), nieces Denise (Wilson) and Tammy (Patrick), and by his great-nieces and nephew. Dave is predeceased by his wife Christine and his parents Sebastien Eugene and Florence. Dave grew up in Dugald, Manitoba and lived there until he met and married Christine at which time they moved to Winnipeg. Dave worked for many years at Dominion Bronze and later at Border Chemical before retiring in 2006. Since that time he has enjoyed volunteering for Winnipeg Harvest, playing shuffleboard and helping family and friends. Dave will be sadly missed by all his relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 27 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street, with a gathering for family and friends to follow in the funeral home's reception lounge. Interment will then follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
