Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANE (JEAN) FOOTE DOIG Jane (Jean) Foote Doig passed away peacefully on September 24, 2008 at the Poseidon Care Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, December 21, 1927. Predeceased by her husband Daniel Mitchell Doig. Lovingly remembered by her family: her son Michael Daniel Doig (Glennis Doig); her grandsons, Jeffery Daniel Doig, (great-grandchildren Tessa and Mitchell Doig) and Jason Doig (Kim Doig). Her sister Ella Forbes (Katey and Johnny Barber); sister-in-law Lillian Doig (and family) and sister-in-law May Turnball (Norman and family). Jean's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Poseidon Care Centre for their excellent care of Jean. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors and staff. Cremation has taken place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, Manitoba and Jean will be taken to Aberdeen, Scotland to join her husband Mitch. Memorial remembrance may be made in the form of a donation to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3A 1P6 Canada.
