JOHN MALOWSKI Peacefully on September 18, 2008, John passed away at Deer Lodge Centre. He was born on June 22, 1915, in Dauphin, MB, the first child to Nicholas and Justina Malowski. John served in Alaska and England during The Second World War. It was there he was introduced to the baking trade which became his life long work. John was predeceased by his wife Alberta, his brother Fred, sisters: Ann (Marge), Phyllis and Helen (Hazel). He is survived by his brothers: Steve (Ivy) and Maurice (Elsie) both of Dauphin; his sisters: Elizabeth (Betty) of Winnipeg and Nydia of Markham, ON as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank his special friends Bill and Elaine Tames of Armstrong, BC for their letters and phone calls. Also thank you to all the staff on Tower six at Deer Lodge for their care and kindness. In accordance with John's wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment for him and his wife will take place at a later date.
