Audrey Lorraine Peters (nee Dudgeon), a Second World War Veteran (Lieutenant) Nursing Sister, was the beloved wife of the late James Ross Peters. Dear mother of Paula Barideh (Muhammad) of Campbellford, Jim Peters (Bea) of Vancouver and Jane Knights (Don) of Cobourg. Grandmother of Catherine, Elizabeth, Sara and Cheryl. Sister of Agnes and Lou Potvin, Ross and Ida Dudgeon, Maude and Harry Varnes, Mary and Archie Dowdle, Greta and Arthur Sladden, Ida Dudgeon, Vera Dudgeon, Jean and Howard Cramp, Joe and Kay Dudgeon and Gerald Dudgeon, all predeceased. A funeral service will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. till time of service. Interment at Memory Gardens, Guelph. If desired, donations in memory of Audrey can be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Heart Stroke Foundation or the Charity of Choice.
